About Me

I really don't know what to say here. This is a start.

I am one of the estimated 400,000 people in the United States that lives with having Multiple Sclerosis.

Throughout the day it is a constant reminder to me that I have this incurable disease. I live by watching a clock for taking medications and by a calendar for appointments for my Multiple Sclerosis.

The symptoms I experience from Multiple Sclerosis last seconds, minutes, hours, or the entire day. The severity is different, because some of my symptoms fluctuate but most are constant. These are some of my symptoms from Multiple Sclerosis, they are in no specific order.

  • Fatigue
  • Slurred Speech
  • Forgetfulness Or Concentration Difficulties
  • Dizziness
  • Numbness, Weakness or Pain in One or More Parts of My Body
  • Paralysis
  • Lack of Coordination or Unsteady Gait
  • Vision Problems

But when the day starts I am thankful for being alive and when the day ends I am happy to have enjoyed another day of life.

Sincerely,

Bill MacDonald
